What is the QRP Contest Community
The QRP-Contest-Community (qrpcc) is a supra-national network of qrp
enthusiasts from 12 nations pursuing the organization and promotion of
QRP Contests since 1992.
The qrpcc may be viewed as a support group taking care of the qrp'ers
and homebrewers interests in a self-help manner.
- The ORIGINAL-QRP-CONTEST, designed for genuine QRP gear, has been carried
out by the qrpcc since 1996.
- The HOMEBREW & OLDTIME-EQUIPMENT-PARTY since 1997 also has been organized
by the qrpcc very successfully.
- The QRP-minimal art-SESSION is the youngest qrpcc-event coming into life
at Ascension Day 2000.
The promoters of qrpcc are private persons supporting the idea by personal
participation in organizing, log-checking, printing address labels etc. or
by sponsoring postage costs.
Because of its international design the qrpcc does not seek affiliation with
national ham radio organizations but is open to any friendly cooperation.
