Dear OQRPC friends, (thank you to Eddi, DK3UZ for translation)

We received for the 26th O-QRP contest logs from after all 25 DXCC 
countries. This number appears to be rather constant, and it demonstrates the 
OQRPC is quite well-known in Europe.

Approx. 50% of the logs came from DL, followed by PA with 9, ON with 7,
and OK with 5 logs. There are several countries with only one entrant. How
can we improve on the last figure? I'd like to hear from possible contacts
in those countries, and would appreciate OQPRC rules published in respective
amateur radio media.

From countries listed below only 1 log each was submitted:

9A, EI, EU, GM, HB9, LY, OE, OM, SP, YL, YO and YU.

While not that many stations participated in the June 2009 OQRP contest,
a total of 59 different rigs were employed. This means an average of two
stations used the same equipment.

The list is lead by the usual "suspects", the Elecraft K2 kit, and the
commercially built Yaesu FT-817.

Homebrewing was represented very well as always, 26 stations entered
thus. The 30% bonus awarded here is a great help when in a cinch.

More than 60% participated using homebrew rigs or rigs built from kits.
DIY is very popular among QRPers.
